2377. Can you hear me, daddie?

For most of the students and learners of English or any other language Listening and Understanding texts and messages may be the most difficult skill among the four ones a language has: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

Thus it has got to be practiced and trained quite often, starting with listening to the teacher in the classroom.

On his own, the learner can listen to videos and audios from the Internet. So the learner can have the initiative of listening on his own, by himself.

He will soon notice his advances, most of the times. With time passing, the student could feel he’s advancing little or slower, but that feeling is a result of the massive listening he has practiced: the first steps at learning a language are clearly noticed, which otherwise it’s the opposite when the student has advanced a lot. / Photo from: man headphones laptop www philly com
